Full Moon Circles

Pisces%2027%20A%20harvest%20moon

Beginning with the Corn Moon on Friday, September 4th, we will be offering free Circles to honor the Divine Feminine with Ritual, Song & Healing. Circles are open to all but please note that an advanced RSVP is mandatory.

No Prior group Circle or ritual experience is necessary (if you’ve gone to church, you’ve had ritual experience!) and while many elements of the format of the ceremony lean towards Goddess/Earth-based spirituality, all denominations are welcomed to attend.

We begin promptly @ 8pm. Please do not arrive after that time as the Circle door is closed and will remain closed until we are finished. To avoid interuption, the physical door is locked and all cell phones must be turned off .

Before arriving it is best not to eat a large meal and to give yourself a bit of  ‘breathing room’  especially if coming directly from work or a stressful situation. Take some time, if only a few minutes, to clear your mind of the day’s events, take a bath or shower, change your everday clothes into something more comfortable or even make or, if you intend to come more than once, buy something special to be worn only for this occassion. The idea is to shift your consciousness from the mundane to the magickal, from the outer world to the inner planes.

After arriving and while we are getting prepared, please keep conversations to a minimum. Again, this is to help our focus shift from the everyday to the present moment. We will enjoy sharing both our lives & our experiences in Circle when we are finished with a quick bite to eat and some social time.

Some Things to Consider:

We will be burning incense, there will be fresh flowers in the room and we will be sharing wine & bread or cookies. If you have sensitivities to any of these or other items, please let us know ahead of time, before arriving. If you are not able to drink wine, have a cold or a contagious illness, please feel free to bring your own chalice or wine glass or simply not partake in the sharing of the communal chalice. Grape juice is also available.

What to Expect:

Circles consist of an Opening Ceremony of calling in the 4 Elements, also called ‘Quarters’; A reading & discussion on the energy of the month’s full moon & important astrological  happenings;  Other selected readings on topics of interest; A pathworking or guided meditation; Healings for ourselves & Others; Opening the Circle~Releasing the Elements.

As mentioned above we will have some food after Circle. Tea will be provided and it’s asked that everyone bring something to share. There may be handouts or a brief discussion on the next month’s Moon ceremony.

At times we may meet at a local,  private spot outdoors, weather permitting.  Advanced notice will be given.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to post here, or contact Lis @ Crossroads Gallery.

  1. I am a friend of Tammy’s and have always been interested in witchcraft, Wicca and all things spiritual since i was a child. At this time in my life, i’m going through many difficult things including illness, not working and losing a home. I believe things happen for a reason, and although it’s not clear, i know there is something i should be doing for others and myself. I am a Registered Nurse who was working at Mountain Valley Hospice. I not only wish to be healed but to learn Wicca, healing Touch, Reiki and all things spiritual. Can you guide me and give me advice? I would appreciate anything you can offer. Thank You.
